Liability and Safety
At Frankly Face Painting, your family’s safety is our top priority. We use only professional, FDA-compliant, cosmetic-grade products designed specifically for face and body art. While these paints are considered safe for skin, we want to be clear about our health and safety policies:
If you or your child has very sensitive skin or allergies, please let us know before painting begins. We’re happy to do a small patch test first. Information regarding paint ingredients can also be found [here].
While most of our paints can be removed with a baby wipe, some colors may linger a bit longer. In that case, we recommend using mild soap, water, and a washcloth — please avoid harsh scrubbing. A little baby oil can also help if the paint is particularly stubborn.
For safety reasons, we do not paint children under 3 years old, anyone who is unwilling (consent is important at every age), or anyone who appears sick or has a skin condition such as cold sores, pink eye, ringworm, sunburn, eczema, lice, or open wounds.
The Artist is not responsible for allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, or for damage to clothing or property.
If paint does get on clothing, wash immediately to avoid stains. Most paints wash out with little to no issue.
We love bringing color and fun to your event, but please remember: we are not child supervisors. Parents and guardians are responsible for children’s safety and behavior at all times.
By booking with Frankly Face Painting, you agree to these safety guidelines. They help us make sure every event is safe, fun, and full of smiles.
